Thirty Years of Keeping Laundry Rooms Running
ProLaundry Repair is a family-run service company based in Brooklyn. Since 1994 we have repaired washers and dryers in laundromats, hotels, apartment buildings, gyms, and private homes across New York City.
How We Got Here
ProLaundry Repair started as a two-person operation out of a garage on Cozine Avenue. Our founder had spent a decade working on commercial laundry equipment and saw that laundromat owners were being overcharged for routine repairs that should have taken an afternoon.
The first clients were neighborhood laundromats in East New York and Brownsville. Word spread. Property managers asked us to look at shared laundry rooms. Hotels followed. By 2005 we had a small fleet of vans and a handful of technicians who knew the equipment inside and out.
Today we run a team of factory-trained technicians out of the same Brooklyn address. We still answer the phone the same way we did in 1994 — a real person, not a call center. And we still treat every job like it is the only one on the schedule.
Our growth has come entirely from referrals and repeat business. That is a business model we are proud of, and it is why we do not cut corners.

What We Stand For
Four principles that decide how we run every job.
Honest Estimates
Written parts and labor on every job. If repair is not worth it, we tell you that instead of taking the work.
Fast Response
Same-day appointments and two-hour emergency dispatch in NYC, because downtime costs real money.
Fix It Right
No temporary patches. If a part is worn, we replace it. If a root cause is unclear, we keep digging.
Real People
You speak to a technician, not a script. Our dispatchers have worked on the equipment they schedule.

Common Questions About Us
Is ProLaundry Repair a franchise?
No. We are an independent, family-run business. Every technician on our team is directly employed by us and trained in-house.
Do you subcontract any work?
Only in rare cases where specialty equipment requires a certified manufacturer technician. Whenever this happens, we coordinate the appointment and stay involved through completion.
How do your technicians get trained?
Every technician completes manufacturer training programs and rides with a senior technician for at least three months before taking solo calls.
Do you work with property management companies?
Yes. A large share of our commercial work is for property managers with shared laundry rooms. See the commercial page for details.
How can I leave feedback?
Every invoice includes a feedback link. You can also read what other clients have said on the testimonials page.
