1. Scope of Services
ProLaundry Repair provides repair, preventative maintenance, installation, and consulting services for residential and commercial laundry equipment. Services are limited to the equipment and location you specify when scheduling. Any additional work discovered during a visit requires your approval before we proceed.
2. Booking and Confirmation
Submitting an appointment request through our website does not create a confirmed booking. An appointment is only confirmed once a member of our dispatch team contacts you and agrees on a date, time window, and service scope. We make reasonable efforts to honor requested time windows, but arrival times are targets and may shift due to traffic, prior service calls, or emergency dispatch priorities.
3. Diagnostic Fees and Estimates
Unless otherwise stated, every service call includes a flat diagnostic fee that covers travel and the on-site inspection. The fee is disclosed before dispatch. If you approve the recommended repair, the diagnostic fee is credited toward your total invoice. If you decline the repair, the diagnostic fee is retained to cover the visit. Written estimates are valid for 14 days unless otherwise noted.
4. Payment Terms
Payment for standard residential and commercial service is due upon completion of the work. We accept credit cards, debit cards, business checks, and ACH transfers. Cash is accepted in person. Approved commercial accounts may be eligible for net terms, which are specified in a separate written agreement. Late payments may be subject to a reasonable service charge where permitted by law.
5. Repair Warranty
Every repair we perform is covered by a 90-day parts and labor warranty from the date of service. If the same issue recurs within that period, we will return and correct it at no additional cost. The warranty does not cover:
- New or unrelated failures of the same machine
- Damage caused by misuse, overload, or neglect
- Damage from power surges, water damage, or third-party work
- Normal wear items such as hoses, filters, or belts beyond the warranty period
Additional warranty terms are described on our Refund Policy page.
6. Client Responsibilities
To allow us to perform safe and effective service, you agree to:
- Provide safe access to the equipment and the room where it is located
- Ensure that power, water, and gas connections are operational and reachable
- Disclose any known hazards or prior repairs at the location
- Provide accurate information about the equipment and reported issue
- Arrange for someone 18 or older to be present for residential appointments unless otherwise agreed
7. Parts and Sourcing
We default to original equipment manufacturer parts whenever available. When a part has been discontinued or is on indefinite back-order, we may source from established aftermarket suppliers. This will be disclosed to you in writing before installation. Some special-order parts require prepayment, which we will explain before ordering.
8. Cancellations and Rescheduling
You may reschedule or cancel a service call at no charge with at least four hours' notice before the confirmed time window. Cancellations with less notice may be subject to a trip charge. If we must reschedule due to an emergency or parts availability, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer the next available slot at no cost to you.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, lost business, or damage to property not serviced by us, except where such limitations are prohibited by law.
10. Website Use and Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and layout, is owned by ProLaundry Repair or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or reuse any portion of this site without written permission. You agree not to use the site for unlawful purposes or in any way that interferes with its operation.
11. Dispute Resolution
We prefer to resolve any disagreement directly. If a dispute arises, please contact us first and give us a reasonable opportunity to address it. If we cannot resolve it informally, the matter will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Kings County, New York, and both parties agree to jurisdiction there.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
