How soon can I get an appointment?
Most standard appointments are available within 24 to 48 hours, and same-day slots open up frequently across Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. Book online on the appointment page, or call (718) 871-7545 to hear the current availability.
What time windows do you offer?
We schedule in four windows: morning (8 AM – 12 PM), afternoon (12 PM – 4 PM), evening (4 PM – 8 PM), and flexible. You will receive a two-hour confirmed window by text on the day of service.
Do you work on Saturdays?
Yes. Saturday appointments are available across all NYC boroughs. Sunday is reserved for emergency calls only.
Can I reschedule an appointment?
Yes, at no charge if you give us at least four hours' notice. Call or reply to your confirmation text and we will move it to another available slot.
Will I know who is coming and when?
Yes. On the day of service, you receive a text with the technician's name and a two-hour arrival window. The technician also calls when they are en route.
Do I need to be home during the visit?
For residential appointments, someone 18 or older should be present to approve the repair. For commercial accounts, we can work with a key, lockbox, or access code if you prefer.
Is there a diagnostic fee?
Yes. The diagnostic fee covers travel and the full on-site inspection. It is credited toward your invoice if you approve the repair. See full details on the pricing page.
Do you give free estimates?
Estimates for installation, consulting, and maintenance plans are free. Repair service includes a flat diagnostic fee which is credited if you approve the repair.
How do you accept payment?
Credit card, debit card, business check, and ACH transfer. Cash is accepted in person. Approved commercial accounts can be set up on Net 15 or Net 30 terms.
Will the final invoice match the estimate?
Yes, unless we discover an additional problem while on site. If that happens, we stop, explain what we found, and give you a revised estimate before continuing. No work happens without your approval.
Do you offer a warranty on repairs?
Yes. Every repair is covered by a 90-day parts and labor warranty. If the same issue returns within that window, we return at no additional cost. See the refund policy for full terms.
Is there a discount for multiple machines?
Yes. Facilities with multiple units qualify for volume pricing, especially on maintenance plans. Mention the number of machines when you contact us and we will include it in your quote.
What brands do you repair?
We repair the major commercial and residential platforms, including Speed Queen, Continental Girbau, Dexter, Wascomat, UniMac, LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, Maytag, GE, Bosch, and many others. See the brands page for the full list.
Do you carry parts on the truck?
Yes. Our vans stock the most common parts — belts, seals, drain pumps, heating elements, and control components. Uncommon parts are ordered the same day, usually arriving within 24 to 48 hours.
Do you use genuine manufacturer parts?
We default to OEM parts whenever they are available and priced reasonably. If a part is discontinued, we source from established aftermarket suppliers and disclose this to you before installing it.
How long does a typical repair take?
Most common repairs are finished in a single visit of 45 to 90 minutes. If a part has to be ordered, we schedule a return visit as soon as it arrives.
Can you tell me if a machine is worth repairing?
Yes, and this is part of every diagnostic visit. We quote the repair and, when relevant, note the approximate replacement cost so you can decide. See the reasoning we use on the residential repair page.
Do you install new machines?
Yes. We install new washers and dryers in homes and commercial facilities, handling venting, water hookups, and leveling. See the services page for details.
Can you fix a machine that another company worked on?
Yes. We service machines regardless of prior repair history. We will inspect the previous work as part of the diagnostic and tell you if it affected the current issue.
What is included in a maintenance plan?
Each plan includes scheduled visits, a full equipment checklist, written service records, priority scheduling for repairs, and a discount on parts and labor. See full details on the maintenance page.
Do I need a minimum number of machines for a plan?
For monthly and quarterly plans we usually recommend at least four units. Smaller laundry rooms can still get a custom arrangement — just contact us and we will work out a schedule.
Can I pause a plan during slow season?
Yes. We can shift to a lighter schedule during low-occupancy months and return to the full plan when business picks up. Terms are flexible.
How much does maintenance actually save?
Clients on monthly plans typically report a significant drop in emergency calls, longer equipment life, and lower total repair spend. We walk through the math in the free site survey.
Do I need to be on-site during maintenance visits?
No. Most clients give us a key or access code. We notify you before each visit and send a written report afterward.
What areas do you serve?
All five New York City boroughs, plus select parts of New Jersey, Westchester County, and Nassau County. See the service areas page to check your ZIP code.
Do you charge extra for extended areas?
Some extended areas carry a small travel surcharge, which we disclose before scheduling. NYC boroughs are always included in standard pricing.
Do you serve commercial and residential clients?
Both. Roughly half our volume is residential service and half is commercial. Each has its own dispatch line, so calls do not compete for the same technicians.
Can you service multiple locations on one contract?
Yes, for commercial accounts with multiple properties. Contact us on the contact page with the list of addresses and we will coordinate a schedule.
Do you serve Long Island?
Only the western edge of Nassau County, closest to the Queens border. We do not currently serve Nassau further east or any part of Suffolk County.
What counts as an emergency?
Emergencies include laundromats or hotels with multiple units down during operating hours, water flooding, smoke or burning smells, gas odor, and entire laundry rooms with no power. See the full breakdown on the emergency repair page.
How fast is emergency response?
Our target is two hours within New York City for genuine emergencies. Traffic, distance, and prior calls can affect arrival. We confirm a realistic ETA on the phone before dispatch.
Is emergency service more expensive?
Yes. Emergency and after-hours calls carry a higher diagnostic fee than scheduled visits, and overnight or holiday rates apply. The exact amount is quoted on the phone before we dispatch.
What should I do if I smell gas?
Leave the building immediately and call 911 and your gas utility first. Once the area is safe and the gas is shut off, we can inspect and repair the equipment.
Do you have 24/7 contracts for commercial clients?
Yes. Monthly and custom maintenance plans can include guaranteed 24/7 emergency coverage. Details are on the maintenance page.
